Creating your Project
In this tutorial, you will learn how to set up a basic CAN (Controller Area Network) project on an FPGA using the ChipInventor platform. We will assemble a system that transmits and receives CAN frames, displaying the messages via a UART interface for debugging or monitoring.
Steps to create your project:
1. Open ChipInventor and click New Project.
2. Fill in the fields:
-
-
Name: CAN Basic on FPGA
-
Description: CAN communication project with UART output for debugging
-
Type: FPGA
-
3. Click Create to start the project.
